Discussion
The University of Texas at Brownsville and Texas Southmost College (UTB/TSC) has been awarded a Distributed Renewable Energy grant through the Texas Comptroller's Office. Part of the scope will include installation of a 100-kW Northwind 100 community-scale wind turbine at the UTB/TSC International Technology Education and Commerce Center by March-April 2011. The turbine will be used for educational, training, research, and demonstration.
