The Massachusetts Wind Working group provides a forum where government, academic institutions, utilities, energy marketers, developers, and community stakeholders can collaborate to promote smart and successful wind energy development in Massachusetts. It aims to identify barriers and opportunities related to wind development; to promote public understanding of wind power, its benefits and impacts; and to foster job creation and economic development.

The Wind Working Group encompasses small scale (residential/farm), community scale, and commercial-scale wind energy development and is open to any interested party that supports the group's mission.
