Congress Passes USDA Farm Bill, Including Renewable Energy Funding

Date: 2/4/2014

On February 4, the Senate passed a $956 billion Farm Bill, and President Obama signed it 3 days later. The Farm Bill includes $881 million in funding for renewable energy and energy efficiency programs. This funding will allow farmers, ranchers, and rural small businesses to access grants and loans to install renewable energy systems.
