NREL and the American Solar Energy Society Wind Division co-hosted this webinar that introduced the suite of NREL Jobs and Economic Development Impact (JEDI) models, including a sneak peek at the small wind model that is currently under development. The presentation covered what the models are, how they work, what they can do, and how they can be used. Questions or comments were welcome to help maximize the usefulness of tools and presentations offered by NREL.

David Keyser, research analyst at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory, presented. David joined NREL in 2012. Previously he was an economist for the State of Colorado, where he worked with local governments to help them understand their population, economies, and how these socioeconomic forces impact long term planning. David has an MA in economics from Colorado State University and eight years of experience working with economic impact models.
