DOE Wind Energy Program Newsletter Debuts at AWEA's WINDPOWER Conference

DOE Wind Energy Program Newsletter Debuts at AWEA's WINDPOWER Conference

Date: 5/22/2011

The first edition of the DOE Wind Program's Research & Development (R&D) Newsletter was sent live in time for AWEA's WINDPOWER Conference in Anaheim, California (May 23 - 25). Conference attendees were provided with the opportunity to subscribe to the newsletter at the DOE Wind Program's booth (booth 1101 in Exhibit Hall D) at WINDPOWER. Whereas the Wind Powering America newsletter reports on state and regional market acceleration and deployment activities through the DOE Wind Program's Wind Powering America initiative, the Wind Program's R&D newsletter provides its partners and industry stakeholders with recent news about the Program's R&D projects, accomplishments, upcoming events, funding opportunities, and recent publications. The newsletter's first edition includes stories about offshore wind resources and technologies, gearbox reliability, a new blade test facility, and the next phase in the Western Wind and Solar Integration Study. Subscribe to the DOE Wind Program's quarterly R&D newsletter.
