EPA Offers Environmental Education Regional Grants

Date: 4/26/2011

The Environmental Protection Agency is seeking grant proposals from eligible applicants to support environmental education projects that promote environmental stewardship and help develop knowledgeable and responsible students, teachers, and citizens. Eligible entities are local education agencies, colleges or universities, state education or environmental agencies, nonprofit organizations, and noncommercial educational broadcasting entities. Applications are due May 2. Grant amounts range from $15,000 to $100,000. For more information, contact Karen Scott or read the solicitation notice.
