NREL Publishes U.S. Green Power Marketing Status Report
The National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) recently released the annual "Green Power Marketing in the United States: A Status Report (2009 Data)." The report documents U.S. green power marketing activities, trends, and current issues, including trends in the voluntary market (such as renewable energy credit prices and transparency) and the treatment of renewable energy purchases in greenhouse gas inventories. The data presented in the report are based primarily on figures provided to NREL by utilities and independent renewable energy marketers.
