Discussion: In August 2008, construction commenced at the 44 turbine, 132-MW Kibby Mountain Wind Project, proposed by TransCanada for Kibby and Skinner Townships in the Boundary Mountains. The first 66 MW phase (comprised of 22, 3-MW turbines) was fully commissioned in October 2009. The remaining 66 MW are expected to be operational by the fall of 2010.
