Discussion:In August 2008, the 132-MW Kibby Mountain Wind Project, proposed by TransCanada for Kibby and Skinner Townships in the Boundary Mountains has commenced construction. The first 66 MW (comprised of 22, 3 MW turbines) is expected to be commercially generating electricity by the end of 2009. The remaining 66 MW is expected to be operational by 2010.
