Discussion:

On February 6, 2009 the Vermont Supreme Court ruled that the Public Service Board was right to issue a Certificate of Public Good to First Wind's Sheffield Wind Project. The project now needs only a storm-water permit prior to entering construction, which is expected to occur in late 2009. Once operational, power from the 40-MW project will be sold to three Vermont utilities.
