Discussion:

Operating since December 2001, this turbine represents a pioneering effort in community wind. Many communities throughout the region are seeking to replicate Hull's success.

Hull #1 was so popular in the community that Hull #2, a 1.8-MW Vestas V-80 was installed in Spring 2006 (see Hull Wind 2).

Perhaps the most visible wind turbine in the U.S.!

Renewable Energy Credits from Hull #1 sold through Mass Energy Consumers Alliance.
