Discussion:

In August 2008, the Princeton Municipal Light Department broke ground for the installation of two 1.5-MW Fuhrlander wind turbines to replace the eight 40-kW machines in operation on the southwest side of Mount Wachusett since 1984. Site preparations were completed during fall 2008 and the turbines are expected to arrive in late spring 2009, with erection scheduled shortly thereafter.
