State Renewable Energy Funds

Renewable Energy Funds in Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Rhode Island are Public Benefit Funds set up as part of electric industry restructuring legislation. They are funded through systems benefit charges (SBCs) collected from electric ratepayers in these states as part of their monthly electricity bills.
