Native American Wind Interest Group Newsletter
Wind Powering America initiated a quarterly Native American Wind Interest Group (NAWIG) Newsletter that was published from 2003 to 2009 as part of its Native American outreach plan. It presented Native American wind information, including projects, interviews with pioneers, issues, Wind Powering America activities, and related events. It was Wind Powering America's hope that this newsletter would both inform and elicit comments and input on wind development in Indian Country. Due to funding cutbacks, the newsletter is no longer in production.
