Alaska Anemometer Loan Program

This program supplies meteorological towers, data logging equipment, and technical support to help interested communities and utilities quantify their wind resource. Towers are located in each community for approximately one year. After the data has been collected a wind resource report is written. Data and reports are available. The Denali Commission and U.S. Department of Energy have funded this program in the past.
