The Massachusetts Wind Working group provides a forum where government, academic institutions, utilities, energy marketers, developers, and community stakeholders can collaborate to promote smart and successful wind energy development in Massachusetts, identify barriers and opportunities related to wind development, develops plans to overcome barriers to siting good wind projects, promote public understanding of wind power, its benefits and impacts, and foster job creation and economic development.

Both small (residential/farm), and community and commercial-scale projects are included. The Wind Working Group is open to any interested party that supports the group's mission.
