Startup America Initiative Offers Opportunities for Entrepreneurs

Startup America is a White House initiative and public-private effort that works in partnership with the Energy Innovation Portal to accelerate high-growth entrepreneurship throughout the nation. Entrepreneurs, corporations, universities, foundations, and other leaders are working in concert with federal agencies to dramatically increase the prevalence and success of America's entrepreneurs. The DOE laboratories have earmarked the technologies in the portal's "Startup America" category as featured opportunities for entrepreneurs. Any unlicensed DOE Laboratory patent, including those covered by the other technology marketing summaries on the Energy Innovation Portal, may be available as a Startup America opportunity.
