Intermountain Harvesting Energy Network is organizing at the state and regional level as affiliates of the national 25 x '25 movement to carry out the vision that "Agriculture will provide 25 percent of the total energy consumed in the United States by 2025 while continuing to produce abundant, safe and affordable food and fiber." The Intermountain Harvesting Energy Network seeks to facilitate an agriculture-driven network to advance renewable energy development and energy efficiency in seven states: Colorado, New Mexico, Arizona, Nevada, Utah, Wyoming and Kansas.
