Michigan's Anemometer Loan Program began in 2005, and there are currently 10, 30-meter towers and 2, 60-meter towers that are available for loan. Data have been collected at more than 47 locations across the state. Currently, summary data is available for 40 sites at 30 meters. The website has raw wind data available for download for a few locations. The website also has other wind energy information including, small wind, contracts for wind development, community wind, siting and zoning, and wind for schools.
